The United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP27, took place in November 2022. During this time, fossil fuel interests and their allies spread disinformation online to block, deny and confuse efforts toward climate action. Whilst working with Purpose, the team developed a tool, the Online Threats Response Model, to help campaigners assess, prioritise and, most importantly, respond to these threats. To communicate the power of this tool, I designed an animated video that would explain its use to disinformation activists. I designs the visual language, story boards, as well as animated the video and audio from start to end.
